1. Introduction
Marco Polo CEE SRL is committed to protecting the personal data provided by the people it collaborates with.
To ensure that your personal data is safe, we regularly communicate the personal data protection policy as well as the work instructions related to this aspect to all Marco Polo CEE SRL customers and follow the strict application of the protection measures of private life within the organization.
This personal data protection policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use and transfer of data communicated directly or indirectly to our organization, and how we use personal data for the purpose of providing the services.

Marco Polo CEE SRL offers commercial and management consultancy services, and for this purpose it collects and processes personal data received either directly, from the data subject, or indirectly, from legal entity clients who, based on a commercial contract, request Marco's services Polo CEE SRL. We specify that these clients, legal entities, present an appropriate level of personal data protection, confirmed by written agreements concluded with our organization.
Personal data are collected/processed/stored in a controlled manner, through technical and organizational measures implemented by Marco Polo CEE SRL.
Marco Polo CEE SRL. processes personal data in a manner compatible with the requirements of EU Directive 95/46 and with those of Regulation 679/2016.
Marco Polo CEE SRL collects/processes/stores only the necessary and relevant data for the provision of services, according to the contract concluded with clients, natural or legal persons.
The data collected and processed by us include personal data, such as: name, surname, contact data, e-mail, telephone, age, function.
The legal basis for the processing of said data by Marco Polo CEE SRL is, as the case may be, the fulfillment of contractual obligations, legitimate interest or consent.
To ensure compliance with Regulation 679/2016 Marco Polo CEE SRL. reviews the impact assessment, periodically, at intervals of no more than 3 years.
3. Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Marco Polo CEE SRL, for the purpose of providing services, may communicate your personal data to its partners who ensure a similar level of personal data protection, to that presented in this Personal Data Protection Policy, based on signed agreements with these.
Ways we use and/or share your personal data:
Marco Polo CEE SRL can use the personal data collected for the provision of services (commercial consultancy, management consultancy, data updating, responses to requests, telephone contacts, commercial communications);
Personal data can also be used for proposals, presentations, surveys in order to improve services, advertising, marketing and public relations;
The information received by Marco Polo CEE SRL from our customers, including contact data, is collected, kept and used at the necessary level of protection.
The personal information collected by Marco Polo CEE SRL is used only for the purposes presented.

If Marco Polo CEE SRL. refuses a request from you, for example on the basis of the right of access, we will provide you with an explanation of this decision, which you in turn have the right to legally challenge.
Marco Polo CEE SRL transfers your personal information to third parties, in compliance with the written agreements concluded with them.
If at any time we decide to use your personal data in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will do so publicly, notify you and give you a choice as to whether or not we can use your information .in this different way.
If Marco Polo CEE SRL is obliged by a normative act (law, ordinance) or court decision, as well as by administrative acts issued by competent authorities (statute, regulation, decision) to communicate personal data, compliance will be fulfilled without the information or consent of the person concerned.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure fair use of data, we implement reasonable and appropriate physical, IT and organizational security measures to effectively protect all personal data we collect/store/process.
In order to improve the measures presented in the current Personal Data Protection Policy, we will make every effort to ensure that the data is correct, complete, current and relevant for the intended use, and the changes that will occur will be described in the updated version.
Marco Polo CEE SRL will periodically test and review the effectiveness of measures to protect data against the risks of loss, incorrect use, unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or deletion/destruction without right.

The duration of storage/processing of personal data is 10 years.
